Ecclesiastical Organization along the Present Slovene-Austrian Border from the Reforms of Joseph II until Today

Abstract

The contribution chronologically presents the changes of the diocesan borders of the Diocese of Lavanttal respectively of the Diocese of Maribor from Joseph II until today. If strivings of Slomšek were of pastoral reasons in the first place, all other changes, however, are actually adjustment to political changes of the state borders between the former Yugoslavia and Austria respectivelly Hungary.
