Abstract

The author gives the results of the so far made researches of migration processes from the Balcan territory to the Slovene provinces from the 16th till the 18th century. The consequences of Turkish invasions into Slovene regions were hard. The agrarian districts were devastated, but not equally everywhere. Migrations from the Turkish territory began after the battle by Mohač in 1526. The author describes the specific position of the refugees (uskoci) in Carniola, Styria and the Karst.
