Some Unsolved and Unsolvable (?) Problems from History of North Adriatic Countries in the 6 th and 7th Century

The author explains his points of view referring to five disputable questions, for which he suggests other solutions as L. Margetič: localization of two diocesan seats, Cissa and Pedena. authenticity of the list of the synod participants in Grado 579, the contents of mentioning of the beginnings of Slav invasion to Italy 600 in the time of the pope Gregory the Great, as well as the length of the Istrian shisma, as mentioned on the epitaph of the pope Honorius (+ 638). He places the disputable diocesan seats into Istria, evaluates the list as authentical, the beginning of the Slav invasion into Italy in his opinion doesn't also mean the Slav settlement in Istria, the inscription on honour of the pope Honorius. however, referrs to the abolition of 70 years' shisma in the Byzantine North Adriatic.
