The Germans and the Slovenes (1815-1941)

Abstract

The author gives a short survey of political relations between the Germans and the Slovenes in the territory of Slovenia from the Vienna Congress till the Second World War. He deals mostly with the formation of the Slovene National Party and its opponent Constitutionalist Party, as well as with political differentiation among the urbane population because of that in the sixties and seventies of the 19th century.
