The First World War and the Slovenes (Part 1)

Abstract

The survey includes monographies (scientific, publicistic, memoires), treaties and articles which were published in Slovene reviews, weekly papers and daily newspapers. It is divided into two periods - from 1918 to 1941 and from 1945 to 1992. The survey relates to the non political issues of the Great War, i.e. military events and their various effects on the life of the civil population. The period between 1918 and 1941 is characterized by the selection of "yugoslav" topics and a wide selection of articles and recollections of the Great War.
