Late Middle Age Financial Documentation and bookkeeping of Estates and Officesin Central Slovene Lands

Abstract

In the first half of the paper the author analyzes the preserved Middle Age accounting records of territorial and urban authorities with regard to their contents and structure. In the second part, he attempts to outline a reconstruction of the bookkeeping practice, based on three examples (the Freising Loka estate, the Ljubljana diocese Gornji Grad estate, and the Ljubljana chapter).
