Principal Theses of Napoleonic Politics in Illyrian Provinces

Abstract

Some key characteristics of Napoleon’s regime in the Illyrian Provinces are subject of the treatise: development of the administration, unsuccessful abolition of the feudal system and the French policies about the place of Slovenian and Croatian languages in public life.
