Synchronisms of Slovene Economic Development

Abstract

The study focuses on economic development of Slovenia in the period between mid-nineteenth to the end of the 20th centuries, and from European perspective. Stressed are long-term developmental tendencies in Slovenia, especially within the context of European economic development. Based on the data on historical growth of gross domestic product, which have been reconstructed for presentday European countries, this comparative analysis explores their relation to the Slovene equivalent.
