The Small Reform and Slovenian Politics (1960-1961)

In the introduction, the paper presents the reasons behind the decision of the Yugoslav federal bodies to pass more than thirty new regulations, in the first three months of 1961, regarding individual sectors of the national economic system. The central part is dedicated to the planning of system changes, a new economic legislation and the endeavours for its enforcement. The final part deals with the difficulties encountered by the Slovenian enterprises in adapting to new economic conditions and with the attitude of the Slovenian politics towards the small economic reform.
