Abstract

The contribution treats the situation in Venetian Slovenia during the First WorId War. The authoress concentrates her attention upon the Slovene political press, stating it went through three different phases of treating the problem of the Venetian Slovenes: somehow untill 1916 the published articles were mainly informative, they were more engaged after Venetian Slovenia had been occupied by the Austrian troops, and especially when there were pretty convincible signs the problem of the Venetian Slovenes might be solved in the context of the Yugoslav solution at the decline of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Further events and the Peace Conference made an end to ali such hopes.
